Company Review: Little Problems

Hey y'all! I was contacted by a friend of mine, the lovely owner of Little Problems (@LittleProblems), and we wanted to work together to let you know everything her business is all about! Little Problems started out as an anonymous twitter account and led to a personal business selling adorable tanks and koozies specifically dedicated to sorority littles and bigs! 10% of the proceeds from all Little Problems items goes to the Wounded Warrior Project and care packages for soldiers serving abroad.

Little Problems sells two different adorable tanks and one super cute koozie. These are the perfect gift for your sorority little for big/little reveal, little week, birthday presents, etc.

The tanks and koozies are amazing quality and they are only $17.99 and $3.99, respectively. Also, make sure you go to their Facebook page or their website to enter the sorority tank contest. The sororities with the top five number of votes will have a tank designed personally for their sorority!

What kinds of items would you like to see in the Little Problems store? Let us know! :) Don't forget to follow @LittleProblems on twitter!

My Latest Obsession

You guessed it...monogramming!

My friends always joke about me and my monogrammed items saying, "What do you have that ISN'T monogrammed?!" Believe it or not, I found ten items that I absolutely love that are monogrammed that are on my current wishlist. Monogrammed items are classic and are always great for gifts!

1.) Umbrella -- These monogrammed umbrellas by Snookemlilies are absolutely adorable. Don't forget to check out their giveaway on The Preppy Student's blog!

2.) Baseball hat -- I absolutely love baseball hats. Nothing better to wear at a horse show after you're done riding!

3.) Scarf -- these are perfect, especially for fall. I can't wait until Swell Caroline releases their dark plaid monogrammed scarves!

4.) Nike Tempo shorts -- any college girl knows that these shorts are a necessity. When I saw these on Pinterest I couldn't believe I hadn't done this yet!

5.) Jack Rogers sandals -- classic sandals, classic monogram. Staple piece that will last forever.

6.) Engraved cuff -- this is a fantastic gift for a friend, bride, sorority sister, mom, etc. Can be a very nice piece of jewelry with that classic touch!

7.) Bumper sticker -- I have an absolute obsession with bumper stickers. My bright yellow, muddy, sticker-covered car could use a little hint of class ;)

8.) Hair bow -- if you know me at all you know that I can't go without a bow! Especially a supersized one!

9.) Clutch -- I am in need of a good clutch and you can find these at Marley Lilly. If "A Southern Lady" approves then trust me, I do, too!

10.) Headband -- the Blair Waldorf in me says that yes, headbands are still classic in college. Add a monogram and you have a great staple piece that could be rotated in with any wardrobe.

What is your favorite monogrammed item? Did I miss anything that you are just dying to have? Let me know! :)

Flawless Makeup Under $10 ft. elf Cosmetics

That's right, a completely natural and flawless makeup look for under $10. Not just one or two makeup items...all seven items can be bought for a total of $8! Some of you may be familiar with elf Cosmetics or eyes lips face. Just as the name implies, you can purchase basically any cosmetic product through this company...and at a fantastic price, too!

I personally use each of these makeup products and I swear by their quality. Sometimes I will switch out the mascara or blush for a Maybelline product, but I would say they are basically interchangable. elf products can be found at most Target stores.

ELF Makeup Blog
1.) elf Liquid Eyeliner -- this liner is easy to use even if you are used to only using pencil liners. It stays on all day and remains black yet is easy to remove at the end of the day. The felt tip is very fine and makes nice precise lines. This also makes it easy to create a winged look.

2.) elf Regular and Waterproof Mascara Duo -- this mascara is perfect. It is easy to apply and layers without clumping. Either end can be used depending on whether you want regular or waterproof mascara for the day. The waterproof doesn't budge but is pretty easy to remove with makeup remover.

3.) elf Essential Lipstick -- this lipstick is my Holy Grail item. I wear it everyday and the color is absolutely brilliant. Lasts for several hours and is so soft and buttery. It is a great duplicate of the raved-about Revlon Lip Butter. $1

4.) elf Tone Correcting Concealer – this is the first elf product I ever purchased and I have probably repurchased it at least ten times. Unlike most concealers it comes in a half-dozen shades so you can find your perfect match. It provides good coverage without being sticky or cakey. $1

5.) elf Essential Blush – this blush is such a pretty color and even comes with a small brush. With any blush, you have to be careful to apply the correct amount in the correct fashion. I find this blush easy to apply and it is buildable so it doesn’t look to harsh unless you literally pack it on. $2

6.) elf Clarifying Pressed Powder – you may have already noticed that I don’t use foundation. I spend a lot of time working out and riding horses and being active and I just don’t like having that much makeup on during the day. That being said, the elf Foundation does work great for full coverage night looks. Back to this powder, it provides a very light but even coverage and comes in several different shades that match the concealer I mentioned before. It comes with a white fluffy pad that I think works just as well as a brush (which I also purchased from elf!) $1

7.) elf Essential Eye Brightening Color – this eyeshadow quad is another one of my Holy Grail products. The colors are beautiful and blend quite well, especially if you know how to create a basic smoky eye look. This quad comes in over a dozen different options from pinks to greens to grays. The pigment is pretty strong and lasts throughout the day, especially when using a primer (which elf carries!) or concealer as a base. $1
